Scott, Andy, from Bjorn's neck of the woods has been talking about that same idea for the last few years of doing a mass gathering in Vegas. I know it's not really "central"... but certainly has something to offer everyone! But I would imagine there would be a way to set something up like that... it would be a blast and would be a major event! That's for sure! Brett! (Were all here for the same reasons Mace, just glad to help when we can and to get help when we need it... Glad to see you still working on the bird after all this time... it will feel great to have her tearing up the streets again!) Subject: Giant Group Get Together From: "Scott Everson" <[email protected]> Ok, talking about a "giant group get together", has anyone every tried to put one together? What a gas it would be to see all our Birds together in one place and to meet everyone! We would need to pick a central location and date that is far enough out there that we would all have time to plan ahead, mark our calendars, start saving some money, getting our cars "finished" (if there is such a thing). The hardest part might be making up a story to tell our wives about where we're going. What do you say?? I could be ready for a road trip in the fall of 2010 or spring 2011. Maybe we could get a few sponsors (Ames, Classic, PY, etc.) to donate some dollars (to put towards some prizes, or travel expense, or whatever). I bet we could get Smoke Signals or other mag's to cover it as well. What do you say? Any takers??
