Further to my post re brake hoses, talking to my local UK american spares guy (who hasn't got front hoses!) He gave me a ten minute lecture that I'm running the wrong brake fluid. I have been using Dot 4 and now topping up with Dot 5.1 (not using Dot 5 silicone based) He tells me that under no circumstances should I use anything but Dot 3????? Is this true and will I run into problems re brake seal issues?
