I had duals put on my 68,and the shop did a good job running the pipes,but for the rear hangers they drilled a hole thru the rear frame and put a 3 1/2" bolt thru it to hang them from. not only that,but must have used an impact to tighten it down cause one side they collapsed the frame rail slightly..right at rear of wheelwell opening. man am I pissed!! where do the V-8 hangers usually mount? I'm thinking he may also have ruined some of my cars value by drilling holes in my rustfree frame...??
