First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Joe, I've bought some low pressure casting emblems, from Ames I believe. They look good, but they're soft. One of the Firebird script emblems for the front fenders was bent in the middle upon receipt and broke in half when i went to straighten it. They swapped them out, no problem. I have not tried any of the other emblems, and my originals are in no shape for a comparison, so i cannot say how they compare or how they will hold up to the elements once on the car. I can say that some of the mounting pins are larger than the factory holes and the spacing is off just a hair, so some hole "re-sizing" is necessary. Hope that helps, KJ
