Absolutely get insurance on it!! You don't want to end up in a "news from a fire" TV show like Gerrit Dijkstra did! uninsured car burned in uninsured garage and on top of it a Piano on the second floor fell on his bird! I bet several people here remember the story....insure it now! While were on the subject of insurance. My car is not yet complete, but I do have a good amount of cash wrapped up in it so far. At what point is it insurable, and what companies will do this? I've heard enough stories about a shop burning down or getting broke into and the owner didn't have enough insurance. I'd rather not roll the dice here.
