First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... If you want the stock look, go P215-70-14. I've got P205-70-14's on the front and they look a little small (though that was the stock size). 215's ought to be nice. That will be my next tire size. Bob S. First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Thanks for the input. I have a lead on a set of 14x6 right now So I was wondering if anyone had the same setup and what tire size looks and fits best Frank -----Original Message----- From: Firebird-L@OakMediaCreations.com [mailto:firebir...@oakmediacreations.com] On Behalf Of Hugo Tafel Sent: Friday, January 29, 2010 1:17 PM To: First Generation Firebird-L Subject: Re: [FGF] Tires and wheels First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... 14x7's work great. I use 235 R60's and you can go to 245's in the back with no problems (some people have gone wider too). I run 15x7's on my 69 with the 235R60's with minor rub to the frame in the front when fully turned but no other issues. Just applied for my acceptance in to the new list. Thanks again for all your help keep this alive. Not sure if anyone is left and thought I would post one final question before I was accepted in to the new group. I am down to wheels and tires. I am trying to achieve the best look and drivability for my 68 400 . Want to keep the stock rally wheel. Just not sure tire/wheel combination. Also a bit confused about offset as I see some people mention that to accommodate different size wheels. Am I restricted to 14x6 or can I go bigger to 14x7 . Just do not want to deal with any clearance problems. Any wheel/tire combinations that people have had success with be helpful/ Thanks Frank ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <Firebird-L@OakMediaCreations.com> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <firebird-l-...@oakmediacreations.com> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <Firebird-L@OakMediaCreations.com> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <firebird-l-...@oakmediacreations.com> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <Firebird-L@OakMediaCreations.com> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <firebird-l-...@oakmediacreations.com> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/>
