I have a 79 Corvette that has a slow battery drain. I have narrowed it down the the alternator. There is the duel clip on connector with a red and white wire that attach to the top of the alternator. When the clip in disconnected from the alternator the drain goes away. There is power flowing to the red wire all the time. I am thinking that this red wire should only have power when the key is on but it has power all the time. Whatever help I can get on this would be great.
