Unfortunately I can't find gsec anywhere...I was hoping I was just doing
something wrong but I searched the program files as advised and tried it in the
command line.

Really hard to say much...

You will need to find where gsec is, the default is:
"\program files\firebird\firebird_2_5\bin\gsec"

in brazilian portuguese is
"\arquivos de programas\firebird\firebird_2_5\bin\gsec"

you could also try the windows default name:
"%programfiles%\firebird\firebird_2_5\bin\gsec"

If that is the case, you should type in CMD.EXE
"%programfiles%\firebird\firebird_2_5\bin\gsec"

or any of the above sugestions

Why don't you tell us what are you trying to do ?

Perhaps T&T provides a custom instalation that doesn't have gsec.... or
put the binaries in another place, did you try to find gsec.exe using
windows explorer ? Did you know the SYSDBA password ? you will need it
to use gsec

I know a guy in Portugal that perhaps could help you with Firebird. I
could ask if you wish...

see you !
