Yes, port 3050 is correctly open and listening on all local interfaces. I believe the error message is returned by the firebird server itself, meaning the connection was established successfully but something else is failing further down. System is x64 but x86 version of firebird is required due to legacy UDF. I have tried deleting the DLLs from System32 and SysWOW64 to avoid PATH issues but that didn't have any effect.
