I'm seeing two new problems that make Firebug 1.2 almost impossible to
use in Firefox 2.0.0.16 (on Windows 2000).

First, the console keeps giving me error messages that it doesn't know
what "console" means every time it encounters console.log, either in
the external JS code, or if I type console.log directly into Firebug.
The console doesn't know what console is? WTF?

The second problem is that it's almost impossible to enable Firebug
once it's been suspended. Normally I keep it enabled for local pages
(that I'm testing on my LAN) and disabled for pages over the Internet.
If I want to enable Firebug for an online page, and I click the grayed-
out Firebug icon, nothing happens. Right-clicking, etc., do nothing;
if I can even get it to show the console, the console is disabled and
there are no checkboxes etc. to allow me to re-enable it.

Eventually I discovered that the only way to turn Firebug back on for
a remote page is to first navigate to a local page, disable Firebug,
re-enable it, mutter various prayers and incantations, sprinkle some
salt out the window, then click on the remote-page tab and maybe it
might work.

What's the easiest way for me to downgrade back to Firebug whatever-it-
was that I was using before?

Thanks,
Jonas
