The auto-update is intended. Here's our plan: if you want the latest
in any version stream (1.2... or 1.3... or 1.3X... say) , install from
getfirebug.com. You will auto-update from getfirebug.com. If you want
to stay on stable, (1.2.0 then 1.2.1 but not 1.2.1b1), then install
from addons.mozilla.org.

Since we have essential zero testing, all Firebug versions are thrown
out the back of the plane and we listen for a thud. (Thus testing is
our current focus.) That said, I think 1.2.1b1 is safer than 1.2.1. I
heard a thud as we pass over Spain, but we have the fix ready for
1.2.1b2.

If you are using the es locale, wait. Else upgrade. Oh wait you
already did, hence your questions. Any problems? Ok then. Feeling

1.2.0.
