Try setting Net panel to "Disable" and Console > Options >
ShowXMLHTTPRequests off. You are probably hitting the "double load"
problem.  This has always been a problem in Firebug but we made it way
worse by fixing bugs and expanding the cases where we show you network
traffic.  When Firefox 3.0.3 comes out in about a month, all of that
goes away.
