I saw the same thing. The javascript console does report the error as well as the FBTrace window does (with ERRORS on). It didn't happen all the times though. Examening what happend led me to file this bug: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=1198&sort=-id
Installing a clean 1.3.a4 seems to fix it. This release also has some minor bugs in it.
