Damn. Same symptom. FWIW, there does appear to be an error now when I
run the ant script (below). Links are showing up in my extensions
directory for chromelist and chromebug, but not firebug. I tried
editing install.rdf, since
it appeared to have a few replacements not done (the version number,
and update path). Still get the parse error on the xml file.
