if you think that firebug is such a "Developer's Nightmare" then stop
using it and work without it, or better yet write your own tool.
Nobody is forcing you to use it :)

Personally i use firebug all day everyday. It is one of the tools i
cannot live without. I have no affliation with the development team in
anyway, just a happy developer, happy using great free tools that
these people have spent THEIR time developing for YOU and ME.

If there are real bugs then present them in a way that people will be
receptive and care about what you have too say. Coming on a group for
firebug with a title like that will get attention, just not the kind
you want...

BTW: i have been using FF 3.0.4 and FB 1.2.1 with no issues for quite
some time.
