What version of FB do you have installed? The behavior you're asking for is the default behavior in 1.3+ (and I think also in 1.2.X). > Right now I am having to use IE because Firebug has made Firefox > virtually useless. I don't know why it's popping up, but you may have selected "enable" from the console tab dropdown, which changes the default behavior of FB making it enabled for all sites. Just select "disabled" from that dropdown and select "enable console for <SITE>" in each site you want to use FB.
