The answer depends on how you enabled Firebug and which version. If 1.2+, then 1) Open Firebug and for each panel: Console, Script, Net, use the mini- menu on the tab of the panel and select "Disabled". 2) Using any one panel, select "Sites..." from the mini menu, then "Remove All" from the popup permissions dialog.
