This is the UI operation for un-minimizing Firebug.

This is a bug: the [X] should be disabled.

But since you said "on for all pages", and "un-minimize" this is
working as designed.

In my opinion, "On for all pages" should be "on for all pages". You
should not be able to deactivate a page and close Firebug when the
option is set. The fact that you can mislead you about the character
of the option.

And I think it just highlights a bug. It communicates one problem you
have in a way I can understand. Not one person in the time since I
have been working on 1.4 has ever reported this problem. You just did
and now I can fix it.

But once I fix it you will *not* be getting what you want. That is, I
am going prevent you from using "On for all pages" in a way you hoped
would be good for you. So I hope you will try 1.4b5 or 1.5a8 without
"On for all pages" and communicate -- in the same step-wise approach
-- what problems you have that make you want to use "on for all pages"
in funky ways.
