I welcome your specific suggestions on how the user interface can be
clearer and more consistent. The [X] is not a metaphor, it is a
button. We need a user interaction to deactivate Firebug for a web
page. In my opinion, clicking [X] is an adequate solution. If you do
not like that solution, propose an alternative.
