Firebug's console has two modes: One Line and Multi Line. Probably
you're using it in multi line, take a look in the bottom right corner
and you'll se an icon of a triangle pointing down. That icon changes
the modes in the console.

Thanks for reporting this things, without user input firebug
development would be a lot harder ;) BTW, last night I was searching
the issue tracker and didn't find anything like this one. Maybe you
can file a bug in there: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/entry
