I followed all the steps but in the OS Console there isn't any output when I start firefox.exe Things I've done: 1) add these lines in about:config with boolean value true extensions.firebug-tracing-service.DBG_toOSConsole extensions.firebug.DBG_INITIALIZE extensions.firebug.DBG_DISPATCH extensions.firebug.DBG_ERRORS extensions.firebug.DBG_FBS_ERRORS 2) close firefox 3) create new profile 4) install tracing firebug (1.4X) 5) restart - then happens the same thing (no interface) 6) close it 7) start it from OS Console - nothing happens, stays in process, no interface 8) kill the process 9) repeat steps 7 and 8 about four times
No output for me. The other thing I noticed is that when I start the new profile Firefox (without firebug activated/installed) lags so much that I have 3 to 4 seconds before it stops responding My CPU is Intel C2D E7200 and my RAM is 4GB DDR2 @ 800Mhz On Oct 31, 7:57 pm, John J Barton <[email protected]> wrote: > On Oct 30, 6:14 pm, CBeTHaX <[email protected]> wrote: > > > I created new profile and the first thing I did was to install Firebug > > - after restart, firefox does the same thing - stays in process and > > doesn't appear at all. > > Just to be clear, I do not believe that there is a Firebug problem > here.
