Unfortunately that didn't help. When I started with the new profile (blank I assume - no bookmarks), and reinstalled Firebug, even the bug on the lower bar didn't show. And the one in the tools menu has an arrow but no sub-options show when I hover.
I sent a message to my new security system on Friday. I will check back with them tomorrow. Unless you have any other ideas, or anything I can check to see what could be blocking it.
