Last week Firefox prompted me to install the latest update of Firebug, however this install never succeeded. Within the Add-Ons list is constantly tells me that Firefox needs to restart to install Firebug 1.4 but it no matter how many times the application is closed and opened it never installs.
I have tried removing it and installing older versions but this didn't work as they wouldn't install either.
