It has been a few updates since I tried to do anything significant with Firebug. Today when I tried using what I think are the latests releases it seemed to be fairly well broken. I am wondering if I am the only one seeing this.
OSX 10.6.2, Firefox 3.5.6, Firebug 1.5X.0b6 I am not sure exactly what all is going on, but one characteristic is that drilling down to a particular level on my page I see the element tag and a gray right pointing arrow indicating there is more inside it, but I can't get it to open and show what is in it. The example I see this with: go to http://graftontv.org/current/ and try to do an Inspect Element on the "Home Page" link in the sidebar. For me Firebug opens and shows down to the list of <li> elements, but they will not open to show the links inside. I think I am seeing various other anomalies too, but that one is easiest to identify. (I should note similar operations in other browsers with developer tools seem to be OK with this, and Firebug was OK with it the last time I tried, but I don't recall how far back that was.
