Yes.. that what you mean.. F12 to toogle it. but F12 wont work for me. I am installing a latest firefox version 3.5+ and the latest version of firebug 1.4.5

Control - F12 opens in new window. F12 first opens then toggles minimize/unminimze. I don't know what is Pin/Unpin. If you don't see three buttons, then your configuration files are messed up.
