I've seen this problem several times in the last few days, although I have no idea how to 100% reproduce it.
The firebug icon will no longer open the view. Restarting the browser clears the problem. In one instance, the firebug icon indicated that it was still in use (colored icon, not B&W) - this happened when I was debugging in a popup window and closed the window while FB was still open. The parent window was then 'locked out'. Is this known/fixed in b9?
