Thanks, Pedro. I've installed firebug-1.5X.0b9.xpi, but still can't get to the Firebug submenu to turn on tracing (per "Firebug -> Open Firebug Tracing") because the Firebug submenu not appearing is the original problem I'm having. Is there some under-the-cover way to turn on tracing?
