To summarize: 1) Install Firefox 3.6 2) Load: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 3) Click the big green "Add to Firefox" button 4) Restart Firefox 5) Click the Firebug icon in Fx status bar (or press F12) to open Firebug UI 6) See http://getfirebug.com/whatisfirebug for more info Note that 64bit Firefox Linux builds crash with Firebug: http://blog.getfirebug.com/2010/01/19/64-bit-firefox-on-linux-crashes-with-firebug-1-5-0/ If the steps above don't work, try to create a new Firefox profile (no other addons) and install only Firebug to avoid possible collisions.
