I'm using Firefox 3.6 and would like to try Firebug. Unfortunately, it just won't install on my system.
I've tried creating a clean profile but that didn't work. After I install it, it does show up as active in my add-on list. But the icon never show up on the status bar. Hitting f12 does nothing. I suspect there may be a conflict with another add-on. My other active add-ons are AI Roboform Toolbar for Firefox, Download Helper, Download Status bar, Java Console, Yahoo toolbar and Zonealarm toolbar. Firefox itself often hung after the installation.
