Firebug 1.5.2 is not working for me. Even after doing a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox 3.6, and installing 1.5.2 with no other addons except Java Console 6.0.17, Java Quick Starter 1.0, and Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.1, it still does not work. Downgrading to 1.4.5 fixed the problem immediately.
Symptoms are that the gray bug is displayed in the bottom status bar, but clicking on it does nothing. Inspect Element does nothing, and the Tools > Firebug flyout will not display. Machine is Windows XP Pro SP3. If there are any log files that might have clues I'm happy to look into them.
