If you open Firefox error console (Tools -> Error Console) and reload the page, do you see any errors? If you open Firebug tracing console (Firebug -> Open Firebug Tracing), check ERRORS option, do you see any errors? Note that the problem could be related to a collision with another Firebug extension (for me the HTML panel works for http://www.internationalrivers.org/). You can check this by installing Firebug into a new fresh Firefox profile.
