Since no one else reported something similar, I guess you either have
an not-up-to-date extension or similar problem. Try updating all
extensions and using Firebug Icon Menu > Options > Reset.  If these
don't work, install Firebug in a new Firefox profile as described in
the Firebug FAQ. That will probably fix you.
