I know this has been discussed before, and I've read those threads. But I'm experiencing this problem as well and all signs point to Firebug. I'm using Firebug 1.5.3 on Firefox 3.6.3 under XP SP2.
Even typing this post in this forum, when I press Enter, nothing happens. In order to make paragraphs, I need to Shift-Enter. This is in all tabs in this browser instance. If I spwan another Firefox instance, then the Enter key works in THAT instance, but still not in prevously opened ones. NOTE: When I open a new FF instance, it sometimes opens with Firebug enabled for that initial tab. This does not seem to correspond with whether Firebug is opened in the tab/instance from which I launch the new FF instance. Firebug is really great and I've wuickly come to rely on it. But this glitch (which started only after I started using Firebug a couple of weeks ago) is most annoying. If I crash FF from TM and then restart the session, I'll get the Enter key back, but the prioblem always returns. Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks!
