I have firefox 3.6.3
firebug 1.5.4
I installed an addin called 'execute js'.
In spite if all this, when I bring up firebug to debug a javascript
program and hit the console tab
I get a message saying
Console panel disabled
Use firebug status bar icon to enable/disable all tabs at once .......
I do not see a status bar
I have hit every icon on the page. The firebug icon on the bar with
the tabs HTML CSS SCRIPT, etc. has an extensive menu which does not
mention the console at all.
This arose because I am trying to debug a javascript program. I am
pretty sure that one of my functions has a syntax error. I hit the
script tab, run the program and all I get is a message
function 'sndReq' undefined. Not very helpful! sndReq is not the
program with the error!
So I need to do something with the console.
This newbie would appreciate some help.
