You can work around your problem fairly easily. 1. Close all instances of Firefox 2. Go to your Firefox profile folder (e.g. C:\Users\username \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\j100qp4l.default) 3. Edit localstore.rdf 4. Search the file for RDF:about="chrome://browser/content/ browser.xul#fbContentBox" 5. Change the height to something sensible like 300 6. Save the file and exit your editor 7. Start Firefox and open Firebug
