There should never be dependency on any JavaScript. A website also has
to work with deactivated JavaScript.

@Garret: So your statement, that jQuery is crap in this meaning is
unfounded.

@Steve: Did you already check, if you really removed the old version
of jQuery? I bet the page is still including 1.4.1 somewhere. You can
check this by writing "$().jquery" into Firebug's Command Line and
hitting Enter. I'm not the programmer of FireQuery, but I guess, it is
doing the same when you hit "jQuerify".
