I have around 10 add-ons and 8 GB memory but everytime I don't close
the browser the whole day, it uses about 1,5 GB of RAM and I have to
reopen it because otherwise it is very slow...
So I disabled every add-on and open some websites.

Firefox start with/without add-ons: about 100 MB RAM.
Open some websites without Firebug: ca. 200 MB RAM.
After closing these websites: ca. 100-120 MB RAM.

Open some websites with Firebug: ca. 200 MB RAM.
After closing these websites: ca. 200 MB RAM.

So I think that Firebug isn't able to clear the memory. I've read this
issue: Firefox allocates a lot of memory when downloading a huge file.
This happens when Firebug is enabled and a download is in progress
[..]
However, I don't download anything so there must be another reason for
that...
