What Firebug version do you use? I can't reproduce the problem. Here is what I did:
1) Run Firefox 2) Open 3 new browser windows (New Tab -> New Window menu item) 3) Open Firebug UI in every window by clicking on the Start button (in Firefox toolbar) 4) I am able to open Firebug UI in every window What are your steps?
