I'm running the latest stable version of firefox and firebug (18.0.2 and 1.11.1, respectively).
Certain pages will cause my entire tab to lock up, but doesn't lock up firefox as a whole. Let me give you an example: I go to http://news.google.com/ The content loads, but the page never stops "loading" so to speak. I can't right click on anything, I can't select any text, I can't click on any links, and none of the keyboard commands work (Command-R, Command-W, Command-T, etc...). I can refresh the page by using the mouse, and I can close the tab, no problem, but again only with the mouse. When I run my mouse quickly over the title of the tab, there is a 1 second delay and then the tooltip shows up and doesn't disappear until I move my mouse to it again. There are certain pages where no errors appear in the console, but as soon as I hit refresh, the error that I'm assuming should have shown up on the original page load, finally shows up. It's almost as if the console is locking up until you refresh or leave the page. As soon as I disable firebug, I'm back in business. Please help. Here are two pages that freeze up: http://news.google.com/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-developer/versions/?page=1#version-1.2.3 -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
