This issue sounds more like a Firefox bug. Unfortunately I can't reproduce 
that on my Win7 PC. The pages just load fine having Firebug enabled for 
them and I can open the context menu, select text, shortcuts are working 
etc.

Please install Firebug on a new 
profile<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Install_Firebug_into_a_clean_profile>and
 try it again. Do you see these issues then?
