Firebug version: 1.11.2
Browser version: Firefox 19.0.2
Operating system: Win7 32-bit Home Premium

hi all,
after an automated update session (oh don't you just love process
automation *bumps head) to either newer FFx or Firebug -I don't know which
one was updated, never really paid any attention-, I am missing the red
'stop' icon in the CSS panel of Firebug.

The toggle is working just fine, but not having the red icon is a setback.
I can click to toggle the property name, and it will be executed just fine,
but if something is disabled, it takes me too long to check back which of
the property(-ies) I have set to off, since the disable properties are
showed in white. (see attachment)

I have tried the following to troubleshoot, but no luck --hence this
'ticket':
-. disable every add-ons except firebug
-. uninstall firebug, restart pc, reinstall firebug 10.8-10.12.0a3
-. cleaning up the firebug/ folder in user preferences folder
-. removing entries in prefs.js that starts with extensions.firebug

However, upon creating a new profile, Firebug works just fine.

I honestly am not looking forward to make use of the new profile due to any
other customizations, tweaks and whatnot I've done to the current profile.

Please advise.

Many thanks in advance.
