I'm having exactly the same issue. If I try to search for something in the 
CSS file, and it's not currently visible in the viewport, the Firebug 
search feature can't find it. This is very frustrating, because of course I 
want to search for things I can't already see in the viewport! Thanks for 
any advice you can offer.
