Yes I have had similar problem with release 4.1 of Cyberguard on Unisys Aquanta DS/6.
After installing the upgrade packet filtering rules wouldn't get initialized anytime I
reboot the machine. Therefore I have to run netguard everytime to apply the packet
filtering rules.
I have installed all the existing patches but that didn't fix the problem.

Subject: CyberGuard Release 4.1
I have a UnixWare CyberGuard Firewall running on a Unisys Aquanta DR/6U
(disk drive is 4 gig). Since I upgraded to release 2.1.3 of Unixware and
4.1 of CyberGuard a few weeks ago, I have had a series of problems. From
running extremely slow, losing packet-filtering rules, and the latest, the
smart-proxy GUI is blank except for the first column. Has anyone else
encountered similar problems with 4.1 of CyberGuard? I currently had to go
back to release 4.0 and it seems to be running fine. Could it be the
hardware I am running the software on?...any info would be greatly
