I am going to answer only for the Axent Raptor firewall. I'm sure
someone else will answer for Gauntlet.

Easily.

I'll let someone else answer that for Gauntlet. The CIFS (SMB) proxy
works great in the Raptor firewall.

How much bandwidth do you have right now?
It sounds like you need some serious hardware, but with Raptor's
support for SMP that is only a financial problem... I doubt you will
need to move to a Unix platform to get the required performance, but
if need be you can use Raptor on Solaris for Sparc.
