Hi,

I have to judge how secure a SUN Solaris nfs connection is ...

We do have the following situation :

The mount demon is running on SUN machine A on Network 1) the nfs demon
is running on SUN machine B on Network 2).

The router between network 1) and network 2) has opened the port
for nfs service, but no other port.

The potential intruder is an unprivileged user on machine A and
has NO physical access to the network 1). (If he gains root priv's
on A, he can of course snoop around.)

Do you know a way (tool) to get root access on machine B to
sniffer around on network 2) ?

       Thanks for your answers

         Ulrich
