Getting at the log's was the main problem. Any how, getting this info
from our own solution was a bonus, and it's a lot easier for me to grep
(I'm mainly a unix person) on either the nt user id, or the ip address
when I need to see what was happening, and when.

That information is recorded in NT's event log. Collating from the

log is another matter :-). On my LAN I use a VB app I wrote to collect

information in separate log files, one for each PC, and a central log.
