Greetings:

I have a user who is behind a Checkpoint firewall. She wants to use
RaptorMobile to contact certain servers on our network. The firewall admin at
her site has told her that RaptorMobile cannot work through the firewall; that
she must plug in her workstation outside of it. That strikes me as
ridiculous.

Actually, the quote, lifted directly from the user's email to me, is as
follows. "By the way, we've found out that our firewall (Firewall 1) does not
work with your firewall. So in order for me to go through your firewall, I
have to be outside of my firewall."

Do any of you have step-by-step, cookbook directions that I can throw at that
other firewall admin? I know almost nothing about Firewall 1, and I have no
idea how much that admin knows about it. I've found out what ports and IP
type need to be passed, and relayed that information to them, but that only
generated the answer in the above paragraph.

TIA
