Agreed.  However, this firewall is at a different company.  It'd be quite a coup
if I could replace whoever it is that administers their firewall.  Given our
current financial straits, I doubt that there is any chance of hiring a
consultant just to help another company that wants to access our network.

The reason that I asked for cookbook directions is that I am assuming their
firewall admin doesn't know what they are doing or (as someone on the lists
suggested) are too lazy to add some rules.

We'll be looking at FW1 in the near future to see about using it in parallel
with our Raptor box.  This is for redundancy and so that we aren't dependent on
one vendor.  Once I've learned enough about FW1 admin, I may be able to specify
the rules to add myself.

In the mean time, I have advised management of the possible security weakness.
