Here is the correct syntax for local.arp

62.0.24.36 00:a0:c9:ca:a3:df

 

Notice that it uses colons, and not DASHES

Hi Gurus

May some one help with that configuration file

I have installed FW-1 like that

host----->FW---->>> internet

I am Hiding Host station by using the "FW-INTERNET router" network IP address. this IP address isnt the FW neithier the  Router IP address.

So I have to make the FW-1 answer the ARP Request of the Router.

For that I am Using the Local.arp File and it still does not work

WHY???

this is the Line I have used. remember the network between the FW and the Router is 62.0.24.32/27 while the router is 62.0.24.33 and the FW is 62.0.24.34
