Agreed.

You're invited to start, run, and moderate your own list. Or run a
digested version. I'll even offer up a majordomo site if you want to do
the work of submitting a digest distribution once a week.

Or learn to use the delete key, or procmail, or by a mail client that
supports threading.

In the old days of this list, most of the discussion was technical, and
oriented around building / coding firewalls. Most of the people doing that
are far enough along in their commercial ventures that they couldn't
discuss such issues, even of they had the time.

These discussions have been largely replaced by "how do I configure",
"which is best", and "what's a good policy for ..." discussions. Most of
the people on this list have never used FWTK, or written any firewall
code. The list has largely turned into a user group.

Splitting up the list will seperate the few remaining technically elite
from those they occasionally still find time to help.

If you wnt to contribute, and have the time it takes to moderate a list,
you'd be better of running a digest version of the list, or working to
keep the FAQ updated.
